Introduction
Comper is currently in private beta. We're working closely with our first partners to refine the product. If you're interested in joining the beta program, please contact us.
Comper is an infinite, zoomable canvas ("Board") that visualizes all software used in an organization. It connects to source providers, indexes repositories, computes code- and contribution-based insights, and provides collaboration tooling so architects and developers can discuss and manage the software landscape together.
What is Comper?
Comper helps you discover and understand your entire software landscape through an interactive, collaborative canvas. Just like Google Maps allows you to zoom from a city view down to street level, Comper lets you navigate from high-level architecture down to individual lines of code.
Key Features
- Infinite Zoomable Canvas: Navigate seamlessly from repositories to code
- Real-time Collaboration: Work together with your team in real-time
- Code Intelligence: Automatic insights about your codebase
- Multi-tenant Architecture: Multiple boards can run on the same server
- On-Premise Deployment: Your code never leaves your infrastructure
Architecture Overview
Operationally, Comper is fully multi-tenant: multiple boards can run on the same server. However, each board instance is hosted on a single server (not horizontally scalable by design). The system is backed by a Postgres database.
